CH Explorer range
Ensuring the performance of a motoryacht starts with an intelligent underwater design. Olivier van Meer has developed a hull for Cruising Home that provides excellent sailing along with exceptional efficiency and optimal comfort.
The CH Explorer has a streamlined V-shaped hull with a high freeboard hull and a high flared bow. The CH Explorer 1250 and 1500 were designed to sail coastal waters, river deltas, bays, lakes and rivers while withstanding up to wind force 6 and waves up to 2 metres. The CH Explorer 2000 and 2400 were designed for sailing the seas in up to wind force 8 and with waves up to 4 metres. Its main engine gives the CH Explorer a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 9 to 10 knots.

Unique layout
The Explorer gives you 30% more indoor space due to its unique split-level layout. This includes a spacious living area with steering position, while stairs lead down to two large ensuite bedrooms. The dining room/galley is only four steps down from the living space.
Inside out/outside in
Due to the extra rooms downstairs, you have far more space available than on other houseboats of the same length. The huge side windows can be lowered automatically to give an amazing inside out/outside in feel, transforming the comfortable living room into your own private covered terrace. Large sliding doors forward and aft further enhance this experience while the CH Explorer also features various lounge decks.
Many applications
Situated aft at the same level as the dining room/galley are comfy sofas with matching tables for al fresco drinks or dining. The foredeck also provides plenty of space for relaxing and admiring the view ahead.
We can of course fully style, equip and lay out an Explorer to your personal tastes. Maybe you’d like a large study or a cinema onboard or even a sauna, gym or spa? If you enjoy swimming, we can install an electric/hydraulic swim platform, and/or a davit to lift your tender from the water. An office, atelier or music studio are also entirely possible.
If desired, your Cruising Home can be equipped with a stabiliser system for extra comfort to minimise roll and prevent seasickness.
Outdoor comfort
The large sundeck offers fantastic all-round views and exudes relaxation. It also offers plenty of space for al fresco dining in addition to the various lounge areas fore and aft. The sundeck can also be created to meet with your wishes, including a well-equipped outdoor galley.
As long as your preferences are technically feasible and result in a boat that can be safely and simply sailed, is of a high quality and has the Cruising Home brand aesthetic, no request is too much for our designers.

Complete your bucket list by sailing from the bustling urban environment of Berlin via the south of France to stunning Capri in Italy or journey via Guernsey to the city of Michelin Stars San Sebastian or along the Danish coast to the Norwegian fjords. The CH Explorer brings all this and so much more to your doorstep. And due to its extremely efficient hull, it does so at very reasonable costs.

Explorer 1750 Category B
